xianeWell. Aren't I a busy chica.
This week has been a whirlwind, I swear. Went shopping for various things on monday, and that ate up all my time. Worked Tuesday and then had Music Meeting at NRN, plus a meeting to define my office job there. Finally, I get paid for something I do at the station! Wednesday, I worked all day at Coyote, then I hung out for blissful hours with Stu. Thursday was the big trip to DC with TinyDJ for her early birthday celebration... we went for the final purpose of seeing Doves at the 9:30 that night, but we managed to cram in a huge amount of activity. We sold CDs. We ate Ethiopian food. We went to Ikea. We got pierced. We interviewed the drummer for Doves in their swank tour bus. We went to the packed and excellent show. I love swirly brit-pop... *sigh* The show was perfect, the night was fun, and it was a amazing day.
Today, I started my office hours at NRN, from Noon until 5. I did all the drudge work that makes things run smoothly, and it wasn't too bad. After that, I had to run off to Kinko's, make flyers, rush around the Corner and DT flyering like mad... and came home to care for a sick Stu. I was going to travel over to TinyDJ's house for a birthday get-together, but honestly... I was too tired, and Stu is pretty bad off, for just having a cold. And I felt bad about leaving him. She knows I love her, so it's okay :)
All sorts of crazy plans are bouncing around in my head, many opportunities surround me right now. It is all inspiring and amazing and a little scary, and I don't want to give away anything yet, for fear I'll fuck it up... but I see a lot of possibilities in my future. Add that to a sudden upswing in my writing, finally starting to have Violet Dawning practices again, and the feeling I'm having that I'm actually getting organised and efficient... my head is spinning, but it is a good thing. Wow.
Okay, sleep. I'll dream of my story I've begun writing on again. When I get more posted, I'll put up the link to it again.
