This Saturday [July 27th]at The Dawning, Charlottesville VA's only Goth/Industrial clubnight,
Control.org will be making a special appearance! They were last seen in the area opening
for Funker Vogt on their DC date in March... here's a bit more about them, from their website:
Originating in the slums of baltimore, maryland, control.org spent years melding underground electronic styles into quasi-accessible dance music and live shows. Having existed in some form as an electronic act for over a decade, control.org has weathered various live rosters and subtle genre and name shifts. Firmly rooted in club music, control.org aims only to present electro industrial dance music for the dance floor. Now based in new england, control.org is the flagship project of control freak studio. Various radio and club demos and remixes filtering throughout north america and europe over the past years created a bit of a stir, but in late 2001, control.org were pleased to present a proper full-length debut "manipulate" on dsbp records ...
These guys will make you dance. And before and after the band, DJ Cureme will keep you glued to the
dancefloor - so come prepared!
As always, admission is only five bucks, and all ages are admitted. We hope to see you there!
