2005-08-12 19:51 (UTC)... I'd try somehow to meet Peter [and the gang this time] again, but I dunno what my options are for that these days.
Doesn't matter. BAUHAUS.

2005-08-12 20:27 (UTC)YAY though, I'm glad you got yours! Wooot! PETER! PETER! PETER! And the other guys! ;)
Daniel, David J, and Kevin don't seem as thrilling as Peter but together they all aer that's for sure!
=D
*tugs on your shirt* I GET TO SEE BAUHAUS! =D *shits herself*
Oh speaking of you, I saw this today and thought of you, it's kinda corny but...
"in the bouquet of life, you're the rose" :) it was on something tacky that I would so not buy for you, but the sentiment is great.
*heart*

2005-08-12 21:19 (UTC)Did you manage to get Dead Can Dance tickets? Dang, those were expensive. But I had to do it, having never seen them.

2005-08-13 00:43 (UTC)I think we'll have a huge Ch'ville (though I don't live in Ch'ville) posse in effect. I'm so ghetto! ;) Tentative plans for our group is to possibly head up to B'more on that Friday night catch a hotel. So that way we're all closer to Christiane and Aurora and whomever else may be going along with them and head out at the same time and park at the same place in NYC etc etc. Atleast this is what I'm thinking may work...car pools are great, esp. with gas being expensive.
Keep me informed if you do decide to go!

after all it's Bauhaus!
2005-08-13 01:11 (UTC)Tickets are only $40 each, which granted ain't cheap, but Siouxsie tickets were that much too when we saw her last year in NYC. Even if Bauhaus does play DC, the same with us seeing Siouxsie last year, it makes it more special to be somewhere else and hell, it's NYC =D Of course you have your ticket bastard charge which will probably be $5 or so, so $90 basically for the damn things.
If you're serious about the Bella thing and really want to go, I'd be on Andy's ass now for dates and gigs ;) Hehe. Seriously though, I'm thinking there will be a pretty damn big Ch'ville/DC contingent in NYC so it will be fun :) Please "insert deity here" let there be no drama! ;)

2005-08-13 03:21 (UTC)Final charges for tix
2005-08-13 03:45 (UTC)Just for reference :)
I dunno any details about how to get up there/back or where we're staying, but I like to a. have LOTS of time for possible issues to happen, so I took off from thursday until tuesday, just to be sure, and b. I'm thinking that I might go up on Friday and leave Sunday... c. I'd love to share expenses with people, but I doubt that I'm driving the Jeeple-beast. So I dunno where that leaves us, but this is all just off the top of me head. :)
Eeeeeeeeee, Bauhaus!

2005-08-13 13:59 (UTC)Heh...when I saw Bauhaus they played a cover of Severance. But they didn't have a hurdy-gurdy.
Re: Final charges for tix
2005-08-13 14:04 (UTC)As far as the how to and what to do to get to NYC. I know for a fact that a) I'm driving there b) with as many people that's going maybe depending on days off/schedules there could be a van rental?
Myself? I still think I'm sticking to my original plan for action (depending on if you're already in NYC or not) by camping out in B'more at a hotel. If Jenn (sneakybat) decides to go to NYC and you're already there, then we might just drive up to Philly that Friday and spend the night. Then again, maybe all the way to NYC. There are so many people attending that it will be pretty easy to figure out a plan a couple of weeks before the show. =D You know me though I like to have some kind of outline on what to do...
I'll have to give it awhile to see if I want to actually spend the night in NYC after Bauhaus or drive back to Philly. It really all depends on what I see/hear everyone else doing.
Anyway, I know in the end that I'll be with a great group of people experiencing an awesome band together in one of the greatest cities on the planet. WOOO HEEE! Go me!
