xianeTomorrow: Terminal Ready.
Sunday: Control.org/XPQ_21/Funker Vogt.
My weekend will be filled with craziness and gleeful stress. Tomorrow, I have to get up, try and get to the DMV to get a new ID, go to sound check, drop by WNRN and pick up the motherfucking 20 lb reel-to-reel [so I can interview Funker Vogt on Sunday; that should be fun to carry around] - then hightail it home to change, get back to the Rose, set up for The Dawning, watch Terminal Ready rock the house, go home and collapse. Sunday, I awaken only to fly around desperately while trying to get some handbills for The Dawning to hand out in DC, come up with interview questions, find something decent to wear, then take off for the Capitol. Wooo. Perhaps I'll just explode into a million little bits instead.
I'm looking forward to meeting Jason from control.org - I really like the CD he sent me, and he's fun as hell to talk to. I don't usually chat like mad with people I've mostly met online, you know... but hey, he likes astronomy. That's a big plus.
I need to sleep more. Or less. I haven't decided. I finally mostly shook the evil plague that was going around, and I can't decide if I did well with getting rid of it or not. On one hand, I didn't keep it as long as say, Spookybat. But I did get it, which some people I know did not. So the jury's out on this one. All I know is that when I *do* want sleep, someone is very good at waking me up, usually to tell me unimportant [to my exausted mind, at least] things. Again... personal space, please. If you think I'm asleep, chances are I AM. D'oh.
I think I like how I look in my BDUs. That's a first - I like me in pants. Whoa.
Not that I plan to give up dresses any time soon, never fear. It just seems a bit odd to me that this is something I've just discovered. Call me silly, I know you do anyway! ;)
