Yet another installment of Subculture Shock at 10p easter standard, everyone. YOu know the drill: WNRN 91.9 in Cville, or online at http://wnrn.rlc.net.
No big tracks to premiere, but there will be lots of great Goth Rock and Industrial. It is the first SubShock of the year, you know!
In Dawning news, I've gotten lots of good advice today, and a few people are very interested in possibly helping out. We are looking better every day! I'll give more details by wednesday night, after the staff meeting and brainstorming session.
In personal news, I had a nice day so far; shopping with
ez_mo and
babyrapture, then hanging out with
krasota. Now I'm at the station, due to go on air in 15 minutes or so, and ready to rock!
Let's rock and roll.

as an aside
2004-01-05 19:07 (UTC)although I'm living in MD now, I'd be happy to lend advice or thoughts or networking to the cause. I met you once or twice when I went to Tokyo Rose when I was living in Richmond and felt like driving a bit of a distance. aside from that I'm friend-stealing on lj to offer assistance.
have you looked at any buildings to dedicate to this endeavor perchance? In Detroit we sold weekend tickets and fostered a very intimate setting. we had over 600 people showing up Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights every weekend, and yet somehow, everyone knew each-other by person or association... I miss that closeness and haven't found it in a club since.
Anyway, I can lend some experience and information if you're so inclined =]
