xianeWe're mixing things up at The Dawning, trying to present the best of all the different shades of the Goth/Industrial scene, and tonight is a great demonstartion of that!
Come catch a performance by local musician Tristan, who is gaining quite the reputation for his dark punk songs set to acoustic guitar. Some of you may have caught his improptu performances downtown; now see them at The Rose!
Before and after you can dance to the eclectic mix of electronica of all sorts from DJ AudioRapture and DJ Rite Bastard. Expect to hear Goth, Industrial, Darkwave, Dark Techno, EBM, PowerNoize... and maybe even a little trip-hop. Who knows what those guys have up their sleeves? The last time they battled, the dancefloor won!
As usual, admission is a mere $5, all ages are invited, and doors open at 10p.

Dia De Los Muertos Festus!
Come out, all you ghouls, bedecked in your best Halloween gear or costume, as we will be having a costume contest, plus lots of fab giveaways for you to take home to your crypt. All the regular Dawning DJ Staff will be taking turns in the booth, spinning all the classic songs of Halloween revelry and Dancefloor Goodness. And Candy! Lots of candy to keep your dancing fueled! The theme is Dia De Los Muertos, and we plan to have a giant altar to honour any of your fallen heros - bring pictures if you like. Expect big fun, and all profits from the evening go towards improving your favourite local Goth/Industrial night!
Admission costs a measly $5, of course all ages are admitted! And doors open at 10p - giveaways start early, so the sooner you show up, the more you might win!
