As much as I wanted to see The Brides tonight, I can't say that I regret my sooper-dooper DJ appearance at dcmidnight at the least. The crowd was sweet and friendly, the music was quite the mix of different styles, and I didn't even have trouble finding the place OR parking. midnightscott took great care of me as a guest, and DJ Phae was super-sweet. I got to talk to saintaspartame for a good while, then surprise surprise... javafiend, goddessisis, and androgylicious all showed up [Jake independently from the ladies, of course, as he'd not met them yet!] - I was SO PLEASED.

No big surprises in my setlist - I was scrambling on the second set to find some things to catch the floor's attention, so it's not my usual fare you might recognize from Cryptie, but more of an old-school Dawning type set. I remarked that it's been something like 6 months or so since I spun like that... so I'm kinda out of touch. O_O

I'll post the setlist tomorrow, as I'm too tired to see right now. Sleep calls and I'm answering, dammit.

Glad to see you made it home alive and well, and thanks again so much for the great job Saturday evening at Midnight. I hope we can lure you back in the near future, both for another guest appearance and to party with us...

I'm so glad to hear everything went well. I knew you would have a good time. The crowd and the different mix of music is one the main reasons I like Midnight as an event.
